SECTION - 1
Do Preparing Hair Dyeing
1. Wash
your hair 24 to 48 hours before painting your hair. Hair washing allows the
release of natural oils from your hair so that later dyes can be absorbed
easily. The color agent will naturally blend with your hair, so the color will
last longer.
· If possible, avoid using conditioner when
washing your hair the day before you dye it. Conditioners that can remove
natural oils from your hair are really needed so that the dye can be absorbed
easily.
· If your hair is very dry, apply conditioner to
your hair with warm water every night (at least) for five minutes. Do this one
week before dyeing your hair. After that, do not do conditioner treatment one
day before dyeing your hair. This treatment is designed to keep your hair dry
after dyeing.
2. Choose
your favorite color. Too many color options can be confusing. If you are dyeing
your hair for the first time, it is a good idea to continue to choose hair
colors that are less light or two levels darker than the natural color of your
hair. If this is the first time
you have dyed your hair, you can try dyeing your hair with a temporary or
permanent dye. By using this type of hair dye, you do not need to worry if you
make a mistake because hair dye will not last long. Remember that if you have
wet hair, use a permanent hair dye. The
color produced by the temporary hair dye usually begins to fade after 6 to 12
times washing the hair. In the meantime, with permanent hair dye, the color
begins to fade after washing 20 to 26 times. Generally, dyes produced by
permanent dye may last from 6 to 8 weeks, but sometimes the dye may last longer.
3. Protect
your surroundings with you from paint stains. You really want to dye your hair,
but you do not want to paint the spots on your favorite carpet and shirt,
right? Cover the area or objects around you that can be painted with paint and
cover your floor with newspaper. Arrange a paper towel near you to clean the
paint spill. Wear old T-shirts that you do not like, especially old ones that
are ready to be discarded. Remember that when you dye your hair, it will be
easier for your hair to get dirty with any shirt you wear.
4. Put a
towel over your shoulders or wear a salon hood. During the dyeing process, a
salon towel or hood will protect you from breakage or hair loss. You can purchase a salon hood from
salon supply stores or cosmetic shops. When using a towel, use a black towel so
that the paint stains on it are not clearly visible. Lock the two ends of the
towel in front of your neck using a pin or a small clip.
5. Mix your
hair well. Make sure that no part of your hair is knotted. With clean hair, the coloring process can be
done easily. In addition, this is done again to ensure that the drawing is done
evenly.
6. Apply
the cream on your hairline, ears, and neck before hair color. You can use
cosmetics such as Vaseline, lip balm, or conditioner that are usually included
in the hair dye package (if available). This step is optional, but by applying
the cream to those areas, you can easily clean the hair color spots that stick
to your skin.
7. We wear gloves. Normally, gloves are available
in hair dye pockets, but if not, you can use regular rubber gloves, vinyl
gloves, or latex gloves. Remember that it is very
important to wear gloves when you are dyeing your hair. If you will not wear the gloves, your hands
will get dirty from the hair dye used.
8. Use an
application bottle or bowl to mix the paint. Follow the instructions on the
product list in the product box. Almost all hair dye products offer an
application bottle for mixing paint in a packing box. Follow the instructions
to mix the ingredients (paint and liquid) in the available bottles, and then
stir the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined. If the product
packaging does not contain an application bottle, you can purchase or use a
small container to mix paint and engineer liquid. If there is no toothbrush in the product package,
you can buy a brush comb yourself at a beauty shop or wear gloves to dye your
hair directly with your fingers.
9. Mix
paint with liquid developers (engineers). This blend is only made from a few
paint products that, in packaging, already have instructions on the use of the
developing liquid. Usually, the engineer's liquid is supplied in the product
packaging. If not, you can buy your own engineer fluids at drugstores or beauty
stores.
If you have to buy engineer fluids yourself, buy
engineer products with a 20% boost.

Hair Color
1.
Use a comb to divide your hair into four sections. To hold
these pieces so that your hair does not break, use large hair clips (salon
clips) that you can buy at beauty stores. Dividing the hair into four sections
can help you to ensure that all the parts of your hair are the same color.
2.
2. Start coloring each part of the hair. Rearrange the sections
of your hair into smaller sections (about 1/4 or 1/2 section) to simplify the
coloring process. Use an application bottle or brush to apply the paint to your
hair. Wear gloves and spread the paint on your hair with your fingers.
· If this is the first time you have dyed your
hair, dye it about 2.5 inches from the bottom of the hair.
· To repaint (color again), color your hair about
1.2 inches from the ground. Apply
paint to all parts of your hair so that not only the excess color of your hair.
3. Set a timer to determine how long you should leave the paint
on your hair. Regarding the time required to paint the hair, follow the
instructions for use listed on the packaging box. Do not clean the paint
immediately before the minimum required time, and do not leave the paint longer
than it should. Make sure to follow the instructions for proper use. If you
have a lot of gray hair, it is a good idea to leave the paint open for the
maximum time specified in the instructions for use. Do not let the paint dry overnight.
If the paint is allowed to dry overnight, your hair will dry out. In addition,
you may also experience severe skin irritation.

Wash Hair
1. Clean
the paint spots that stick to your neck and forehead with a paper towel or wet
cloth. Do not wash the paint first on your hair. If you like, you can also wear
a shower cap so that the paint on your hair does not stain your neck or other
parts of your body.
· After you put on the shower cap, you can wrap a
towel around your head so that the heat stays warm inside the shower cap, so
that the color absorption process is completed as quickly as possible.
2. Wait
until the coloring process is complete before you wash your hair. After the
coloring process is complete, you can wash your hair with a shower or under a
faucet. Use warm water to clean the paint that adheres to your hair. Rinse
thoroughly until the bath water is clear.
Do not be surprised if you notice any changes in
the color of your hair. This is natural and does not mean that the coloring
process has failed. Remember that the product you use in some way is temporary
and the color that sticks to your hair will fade every time you shampoo until
finally all your hair color is lost and your hair has its natural color back.
3. Wash
and apply conditioner on your hair. Wait (at least) an hour before you wash. By
waiting, the paint can absorb most of the hair strands. After washing your
hair, apply a conditioner that is already available in the product packaging.
Apply conditioner evenly to all parts of your hair.
· Most hair spray products include conditioner in
the product package, but if the product package you use does not have a cooler,
you can use any cooler in your home.
4. Dry
your hair and style as usual. You can dry it using a hair dryer or let it dry
naturally. When your hair is dry, you can make different style and show off your new
hair color. If you are not satisfied with the results, you can see
your hairdresser determine the most appropriate color. If you want to re-color,
it is a good idea to wait (at least) two weeks before staining.
